Note: This machine complies with the industry standard stability test in the static lateral and longitudinal tests with the maximum
recommended slope indicated on the decal. Review the instructions for operating the machine on slopes in the Operator s Manual
and review the conditions in which you will use the machine to determine whether you can operate the machine in the conditions on
that day and at that site. Changes in the terrain can result in a change in slope operation for the machine. If possible, keep the
cutting units lowered to the ground while operating the machine on slopes. Raising the cutting units while operating on slopes can
cause the machine to become unstable.
1. W arning—Read the Operator s Manual . Do not operate this
machine unless you are trained. W ear hearing protection.
5. W arning—Stay away from moving parts; keep all guards
in place. Shut of f the engine and remove the key before
adjusting, servicing, or cleaning the machine.
2. Sliding, tipping hazard—Do not use the machine near
drop-of fs with slopes greater than 15 degrees; use the
machine a safe distance away from drop-of fs on slopes less
than 15 degrees; do not turn sharply while traveling fast; drive
slowly when turning.
6. W arning—Disengage the PT O, move the speed-control lever
to the neutral position, engage the parking brake, and shut of f
the engine before leaving the operator s position.
3. W arning—Do not use dual ramps; use a singular ramp when
transporting the machine; do not use ramps with an incline
greater than 15 degrees.
7. Thrown object hazard—Pick up objects that could be thrown
by the mower . Do not operate the machine when people and
pets are in the area. Keep the deector in place.
4. A roll bar is available and its use is recommended for areas
where there are slopes, drop-of fs, or water
8. Crushing/dismemberment hazard of bystanders—Do not
carry passengers; look forward and down when operating the
machine; look behind and down when reversing.
