      If your Toro Riding mower engine will not start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, check the following: * Ensure the fuel tank is full. * Make sure the choke is on. * Clean or replace the air cleaner element if it's dirty. * Install the wire(s) on the spark plug if it is loose or disconnected. * Install a new, correctly gapped spark plug(s) if the spark plug(s) is pitted, fouled, or the gap is incorrect. * Replace the fuel filter if there is dirt in it. * Contact an Authorized Service Dealer if there is dirt, water, or stale fuel in fuel system. * Drain the tank and replace the fuel with the proper type if there is incorrect fuel in the fuel tank. * Add oil to the crankcase if the oil level is low.

      If the blades do not rotate on your Toro Riding mower, install a new drive belt if the drive belt is worn, loose or broken. Install the drive belt and check the adjusting shafts and belt guides for the correct position if the drive belt is off of the pulley. Install a new mower belt if the mower belt is worn, loose, or broken.
