Thethrottleandchokearecombinedintoonecontrol
lever.Thethrottlecontrolstheenginespeedandithasa
continuousvariablesettingfromSlowtoFast.Engage
thechokebymovingtheleverpasttheFastsettinguntil
itstops(Figure5).
BladeControlSwitch(PowerTake-Off)
Thebladecontrolswitch,representedbyapower
take-off(PTO)symbol,engagesanddisengagespower
tothemowerblades(Figure5).
MotionControlLeversandPark
Position
Themotioncontrolleversarespeedsensitivecontrolsof
independentwheelmotors.Movingaleverforwardor
backwardturnsthewheelonthesamesideforwardorin
reverse;wheelspeedisproportionaltotheamountthe
leverismoved.Movethecontrolleversoutwardfrom
thecentertotheparkpositionandexitthemachine
(Figure16).Alwayspositionthemotioncontrollevers
intotheparkpositionwhenyoustopthemachineor
leaveitunattended.
SmartSpeed™ControlSystemLever
TheSmartSpeed™ControlSystemlever,locatedbelow
theoperatingposition,givestheoperatorachoiceto
drivethemachineattwospeedranges,highandlow
(Figure6).

Thefuelwindowlocatedonthelefthandsideofthe
machinecanbeusedtoverifythepresenceofgasoline
inthetank(Figure7).

heightofcutwhilemachineisnotmoving(
