3.Attachthechokecableassemblytothecontrolpanelwiththejamnut.
4.Installthecontrolpanelassemblyintotheconsole.
5.Movethechokecontrollevertotheopenposition(down).
6.PlacetheZ-bendofthechokecableinthechokeplateontheenginein
thepositionpreviouslynoted.
7.Placethecableunderthecableclamp.
8.Ensurethatthechokecontrolleverispresseddownfullyandtightenthe
cableclamp.
9.Connectthebatterybyinstallingthepositivecablerst,thenthenegative
cabletothebattery.
ParkBrakeHandleAssemblyReplacement
ParkBrakeHandleAssemblyRemoval
1.ParkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethePTO.Stopthe
engine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,andremovethekey.
2.Disconnectthebatterybyremovingthenegativecablerst,thenthepositive
cablefromthebattery.
3.Releasetheparkingbrake(parkbrakehandledown).
4.Removetheleftsideconsole.LeftConsoleReplacement(page5–11)
5.Removethelockingcotterpinsecuringtheupperbrakelinkagetothepark
brakelever.
Note:T ocompletelyremovetheupperbrakelinkage,removethelocking
cotterpinfromthebrakeshaftandremovetheclevispin.Thelinkage
cannowberemovedfromtheframeslotforinspection,adjustment,or
replacement.
