1.Ifusingatrailer,connectittothetowingvehicle
andconnectthesafetychains.
2.Ifapplicable,connectthetrailerbrakes.
3.Loadthemachineontothetrailerortruck.
4.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,setthe
brake,andclosethefuelvalve.
5.Tiedownthemachinenearthefrontcaster
wheelsandtherearbumper(Figure20).
Note:Avoidthesteeringcomponentswhen
tyingdownthemachineatthefrontcaster
wheels.

ornearaslope,positionthetrailerortrucksothatitis
onthedownsideoftheslopeandtherampextends
uptheslope.Thisminimizestherampangle.
