I.Training
1.Donotallowpeoplewithreducedphysical,
sensory,ormentalcapabilitiesorwithout
experienceandknowledgetousethebattery
chargerunlesstheyhavereceivedinstructionor
supervisiononusingitsafelyandunderstand
thehazardsinvolvedwhileusingit.
2.Donotallowchildrentouseorplaywiththe
batterypackorbatterycharger;localregulations
mayrestricttheageoftheoperator.
II.Preparation
1.Useappliancesonlywithspecicallydesignated
batterypacks.Usingothertypesofbattery
packsmaycreateariskofinjuryand/orre.
2.Donotuseadamagedormodiedbatterypack
orbatterycharger.Itmayexhibitunpredictable
behavior,resultinginre,explosion,orriskof
injury.
3.Ifthesupplycordtothebatterychargeris
damaged,contactanAuthorizedServiceDealer
toreplaceit.
III.Operation
1.Donotusenon-rechargeablebatteries.
2.Chargethebatterypackwithonlythebattery
chargerspeciedbyToro.Achargersuitablefor
1typeofbatterypackmaycreateariskofre
whenusedwithanotherbatterypack.
3.Chargethebatterypackinawell-ventilatedarea
only.
4.Donotexposeabatterypackorbatterycharger
toreortotemperatureshigherthan100°C
(212°F).
5.Followallcharginginstructionsanddo
notchargethebatterypackoutsideofthe
temperaturerangespeciedintheinstructions.
Otherwise,youmaydamagethebatterypack
andincreasetheriskofre.
6.Underabusiveconditions,thebatterypackmay
ejectliquid;avoidcontact.Ifyouaccidently
comeintocontactwiththeliquid,ushwith
water.Iftheliquidcontactsyoureyes,seek
medicalhelp.Liquidejectedfromthebattery
packmaycauseirritationorburns.
IV.MaintenanceandStorage
1.Donotallowchildrentocleanormaintainthe
batterychargerwithoutsupervision.
2.Whenthebatterypackisnotinuse,keepit
awayfrommetalobjectssuchaspaperclips,
coins,keys,nails,andscrewsthatcanmakea
connectionfrom1terminaltoanother.Shorting
thebatteryterminalsmaycauseburnsorare.
3.Donotattempttorepairthebatterypackor
batterycharger.HaveanAuthorizedService
Dealerperformserviceonthebatterypackor
batterychargerusingidenticalreplacementparts
toensurethattheproductissafelymaintained.
4.Donotdisposeofthebatteryinare.The
cellmayexplode.Checkwithlocalcodesfor
possiblespecialdisposalinstructions.
