1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleversto
theneutral-lockedposition,andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.RemovethesparkplugasshowninFigure48.

replacethesparkplug(s)whenithasablackcoating,
wornelectrodes,anoilylm,orcracks.
Ifyouseelightbrownorgrayontheinsulator,theengineis
operatingproperly.Ablackcoatingontheinsulatorusually
meanstheaircleanerisdirty.
Setthegapto0.75mm(0.03inch).
