5. Slide the spring onto the spacer (Fig. 1408). 7. Secure the deector assembly, spacer and spring
with the pivot bolt and nut (Fig. 1410).
Note: The spring “J” hooks must be mounted so
one is on each side of the mounting plate.

6. Position the deector assembly to the mower deck
(Fig. 1409).

8. Hook the end of the spring on the deector’s rear
hinge bracket (Fig. 1411).
