17. Remove the rope from the spark plug hole and
reinstall the spark plug (Fig. 1510).
16. Connect the clutch wire connector to the wire
harness (Fig. 1509).

18. Remove the screwdriver securing the deck and slide
the rear of the mower deck towards the engine base.
Realign the 4 bolt holes at the back of the mower
deck with the four holes in the engine base. Insert a
screwdriver to secure the alignment (Fig. 1511).
Note: Use caution to make sure the deck does not
slide off the engine base brackets.

15. Insert the clutch connector through the engine base.
Install the rubber grommet into the hole in the engine
base (Fig. 1508).
