Situation Important Information
Exceeding the maximum fuel level in the fuel tank could cause the following
to occur:
• Failure of the evaporative-emission-control (EEC) system (i.e., the
charcoal canister in the tank cap)
• Fuel leaking from the cap vent when the machine is tipped
Corrective Action When filling the fuel tank, do not add fuel beyond the full-tank level; refer to
Service Instructions (Page 2).
Safety Awareness Follow reasonable and customary safety precautions.
