1. Slide tube onto blower outlet until tabs on tube
snap into latch (Fig. 3).

1. Depress tabs on top and bottom of tube to
release tabs from latch (Fig. 3). Slide tube off
blower outlet.

extension cord recommended for outdoor use. Refer

• Don’t handle plug or appliance with wet
hands or while standing in water.
• Use only a UL listed (CSA certified in
Canada) extension cord recommended for
outdoor cold weather use. Refer to
Extension Cord Chart, page 4.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has
a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other)
(Fig. 4). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, consult a
qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do
not change the plug in any way.
1. Form a loop in extension cord and insert it
through slot in rear of blower housing (Fig. 5).
2. Secure extension cord in cord lock (Fig. 5 & 6).

Note: Do not unplug extension cord by
pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the
plug, not the cord.

• Thoroughly inspect electrical cord before
using unit. If cord is damaged, do not
operate unit. Replace or repair damaged
cord immediately. Contact your TORO
service dealer for assistance.
