•Becomefamiliarwiththesafeoperationoftheequipment,
operatorcontrols,andsafetysigns.
•Checkthatallguardsandsafetydevices,suchasdeectors
and/orgrasscatcher,areinplaceandworkingproperly.
•Alwaysinspectthemachinetoensurethattheblades,
bladebolts,andcuttingassemblyarenotwornor
damaged.
•Inspecttheareawhereyouwillusethemachineand
removeallobjectsthatthemachinecouldthrow .
•Adjustingthecuttingheightmaybringyouintocontact
withthemovingblade,causingseriousinjury.
–Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
–Donotputyourngersunderthehousingwhen
adjustingthecuttingheight.
