1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurface.
2.Removethedipstick(Figure15).

3.Wipethedipstickcleanwithacleancloth.
4.Insertthedipstickfullyintotheoil-lltube,then
removethedipstick.
5.Readtheoillevelonthedipstick(Figure15).
•IftheoillevelisbelowtheAddmarkonthe
dipstick,slowlypourasmallamountofoilinto
theoil-lltube,wait3minutes,andrepeatsteps3
through5untiltheoillevelisattheFullmarkon
thedipstick(Figure15).
•IftheoillevelisabovetheFullmarkonthe
dipstick,draintheexcessoiluntiltheoillevelon
thedipstickisattheFullmark.RefertoChanging
theEngineOil(page17).
Important:Iftheoillevelinthecrankcaseis
toolowortoohighandyouruntheengine,
youmaydamagetheengine.
6.Installthedipsticksecurely.

Youcanraiseorlowerthehandlein1of2positionsthatis
morecomfortableforyou(Figure16).

squareedgesofthecarriageboltsoutofthesquare
holesinthehandlebrackets.
2.Pushtheknobsuntiltheyareloose.
3.Movethehandletotheupperorlowerheightposition.
4.Pulltheknobsuntilthesquareedgesofeachcarriage
bolttsintoitsrelatedsquarehole.
5.Tightenthehandleknobsastightasyoucan.
