1.Onthelastfuelingoftheyear,addfuelstabilizer
tothefuelasdirectedonthelabel.
2.Runthemachineuntiltheenginestopsfrom
runningoutoffuel.
3.Allowtheenginetorununtilitstops.Whenyou
cannolongerstarttheengine,itissufciently
dry.
4.Removethewirefromthesparkplugand
connectthewireontotheretainingpost.
5.Removethesparkplug,add30ml(1oz)of
oilthroughthesparkplughole,andpullthe
starterropeslowlyseveraltimestodistribute
oilthroughoutthecylindertopreventcylinder
corrosionduringtheoff-season.
6.Installthesparkplugandtightenitwithatorque
wrenchto20N∙m(15ft-lb).
7.Tightenallnuts,bolts,andscrews.
