Why does my Toro Lawn Mower engine not start, start hard, or fail to keep running?

Several factors can cause this issue. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty; if it is, fill it. If your model has a choke, make sure it's on. Check the air cleaner and replace or clean it if it's dirty. Ensure the spark plug wire(s) are securely connected to the spark plug. Inspect the spark plug(s) for pitting, fouling, or incorrect gap, and replace if necessary. Check the fuel filter for dirt and replace it if needed. Also, ensure that you have the correct fuel type in the fuel tank. Finally, verify that the oil level in the crankcase is sufficient and add oil if it's low.
