6� To adjust the front-to-rear blade slope, rotate the
adjustment nut on the front of the deck (Fig� 142)�
7� To raise the front of the deck tighten the adjustment
nut� To lower the front of the deck loosen the
adjustment nut�
8� After adjustment, check the front-to-rear slope again�
Continue adjusting the nut until the front blade tip is
1/16-5/16” (1�6-7�9mm) lower than the rear blade tip
(Fig� 141)�
9� When the front-to-rear blade slope is correct check
the side-to-side level of the deck again; refer to Side-
to-Side Leveling in this chapter�
