Tostopthemachine,movethetractioncontrolleversto
neutralandmovetolockedposition,disengagetheblade
controlswitch(PTO),andturntheignitionkeytooff.
Settheparkingbrakewhenyouleavethemachine;refer
toOperatingtheParkingBrake(page20).Rememberto
removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch(Figure21).
CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethetractorwhileitis
unattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandsettheparking
brakewhenleavingthemachineunattended,even
ifjustforafewminutes.
AdjustingtheHeightofCut
Themachineisequippedwithafootpedaldeckliftsystem.
Theoperatorcanusethefootpedaltoliftthedeckbrieyto
avoidobstaclesorlockthedeckinthehighestheight-of-cut
ortransportposition.Theoperatorcanusetheheightof
cutleverwiththefootpedaltolockthedeckinaspecic
cuttingheight.
UsingtheFootPedalDeckLiftSystem
1.Pressthepedaldowntoraisethedeck;continueto
pressthepedaluntilthedeckislockedinthetransport
position(Figure27).
2.Pushonthedeckliftpedalwithyourfootandraisethe
height-of-cutleverslightlytodisengagethetransport
lock.
