There are several reasons why your Toro Lawn Mower engine might not start. It could be that you are not seated, the fuel tank is empty, the air cleaner is dirty, the spark plug wire is loose, the spark plug is faulty, the choke isn't closing, or there's dirt in the fuel filter. Try sitting on the seat, filling the fuel tank with gasoline, cleaning or replacing the air cleaner element, installing the wire on the spark plug, installing a new, correctly gapped spark plug, adjusting the throttle cable, or replacing the fuel filter.

If the starter on your Toro Lawn Mower doesn't crank, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the blade control (PTO) is disengaged and the parking brake is set. Also, check if the battery is dead and needs charging. Corroded or loose electrical connections or a blown fuse could also be the cause. Make sure the electrical connections have good contact and replace the fuse if necessary. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the relay or switch might be defective.
