Before Calling Service Personnel
Before calling service personnel, please check the following chart for a possible cause of the problem you are experi-
encing. A minor adjustment on your part may eliminate the problem and restore your TV reception.
® Be sure power cord is plugged in. @ Press POWER button.
@ May be station trouble. @ Try another channel.
@ Check antenna connections.
@ Check antenna for broken wires.
@® May be station trouble. @ Try another channel.
@ Adjust VOLUME.
@ May be station trouble. @ Try another channel.
@® Check antenna connections. @ Adjust VOLUME.
@ May be local interference from appliance. ® Adjust BASS, TREBLE, or
BALANCE control.
@ Re-orient antenna.

@ If you change the direction of the TV while the TV
is activated, the picture may suffer from color
shading. If so, turn off the TV and allow to cool
for about 30 minutes, then turn on the TV again.
The picture should improve.
@® Be sure MTS function is in “STR” mode.
@ Be sure power cord is plugged in. ® Change batteries.
® Check battery in Remote Control.
