1. The rotation of the capstan motor operates the
clutch ass’y through the capstan motor belt.
2. Brake operation and shift operation in

Location of Tension Pole and Back Tension
Adjustment
1.
Remove the housing ass’y and set the deck to play
mode.
2. Adjust the tension cam to
2.5-3.5mm
from the
center of the supply roller.
3. The back tension meter should be used for
checking the back tension.
Back tension, should be 41
-
51 g.cm.
If it is not, adjust the tension cam.
