Operating Basics
Installing a SIM Card
The SIM card slot is located under the battery pack of the computer. You
can install and remove one SIM card in the slot.
To install the SIM card, follow the steps below:
1. Shut down the computer - ensure that the Power indicator is off.
2. Remove the AC adaptor and all cables connected to the computer.
3. Close the display panel and turn the computer upside down.
4. Remove the battery pack.
5. Locate the SIM card slot.
6. Slide your SIM card into the SIM card slot with the metal connectors
facing up.
7. Press SIM card gently to ensure a firm connection.
8. Install the battery pack.
9. Turn your computer over.
Removing a SIM Card
To remove the SIM card, follow the steps below:
1. Shut down the computer - ensure that the Power indicator is off.
2. Remove the AC adaptor and all cables connected to the computer.
3. Close the display panel and turn the computer upside down.
4. Remove the battery pack.
5. Locate the SIM card slot.
6. Grasp the SIM card and remove it.
7. Install the battery pack.
