To release the belt, press the buckle
release button and allow the belt to
retract.
If the belt does not retract smoothly, pull
it out and check for kinks or twists. Then
make sure it remains untwisted as it re-
tracts.
The outside shoulder belt comfort
guides for the rear seat outside posi-
tions will provide added seat belt com-
fort for children who have outgrown
child restraints and for small adults.
When the outside shoulder belt is in-
serted through the guide, the comfort
guide pulls the belt away from the neck
and head of an occupant.
To use the comfort guide, do as fol-
lows.
Seat belt comfort guides are stored in the
both pockets on the sides of the rear
seatback.
