8-2. Steps to take in an emergency
After taking the specified steps to correct the suspected problem,
check that the warning message and light go off.
Have the malfunction repaired immediately.

Bring the
electronic
key back
into the
vehicle.

and closed while

was not in the
vehicle, the shift
lever was in P and
the power switch
is in
ACCESSORY or
ON mode.
Turn the
power
switch off
or bring the
electronic
key back
into the
vehicle.
