8-2. Steps to take in an emergency

An attempt to lock
the doors has
been made using
the smart key sys-
tem while the
electronic key is
inside the vehicle.
Take the
electronic
key out-
side the
vehicle,
and lock
the doors
again.
With the elec-
tronic key inside
the vehicle, a side
door has been
opened, the
inside door lock
button has been
moved to the lock
position, the door
has been closed
and an attempt
has been made to
lock the door.
Once 
When the doors
were unlocked
with the mechani-
cal key and then
the power switch
was pressed, the
electronic key
could not be
detected in the
vehicle.
Touch the
electronic
key to the
power
switch
while
depress-
ing the
brake
pedal.
The electronic key
could not be
detected in the
vehicle even after
the power switch
was pressed two
consecutive
times.
