Why does my Toyotomi Heater keep turning off after ignition?
    • L
      lisaperezJul 31, 2025
Your Toyotomi Heater may be extinguishing after ignition due to several reasons. It could be caused by excessive room temperature, so allow the room to cool. Another cause might be an oxygen shortage; open doors and windows to ventilate the room. If the tip-over switch was activated, simply reignite the heater. Water in the fuel acceptance fitting can also cause this issue; in that case, remove the fuel and refuel using fresh, water-clear kerosene (paraffin). Finally, check if the heater is out of fuel and refuel if necessary.

If your Toyotomi Heater is producing an odor, the following could be the reasons. The air filter might be clogged, so cleaning it could resolve the issue. Kerosene (paraffin) spills can also cause odor; wipe off any spills from the fuel sub tank, removable fuel tank, and drip tray. Lastly, the use of inferior kerosene (paraffin) can lead to unpleasant smells; remove the fuel and refuel using fresh, water-clear kerosene (paraffin).
