Connecting the headphones
Conncection cable
The Solitarire P is equipped with exchangeable con-
necting cables. So the headphone can be adapted
optimally to the requirements of different ampliers.
Select the appropriate cable according to the type of
connection of your amplier.
6,35 mm Stereo jack (unbalanced)
4,4 mm Stereo jack (balanced, Pentaconn)
XLR-4-pole connector, balanced (optional accessory)
Insert the earcup connectors into the openings as
shown in gure 2.
Please note the markings on the plug and on the
headphones for the right and left channel.
It may be necessary to turn the plugs slightly to
align the latch of the plug with the socket.
Insert the connectors until you can hear them click
into place.
The plug is correctly connected when the plug hou-
sing is ush with the earcup as shown in g. 3.
If the plug snaps into place as shown in g. 4, the
right and left plugs are connected reversed.
j
If your amplier is equipped with both connection types (balanced and unbalanced), we recommend the use of
the balanced connection cable (4.4 mm, Pentaconn) for maximum sound quality.
