Attention!
Always keep the screw that secures the blade
tight. Loose blade may cause serious accidents.
How to sharpen the blade
Note: Vibration is the result of an unbalanced
blade. A damaged blade may cause serious
accidents.
1. Sharpen the blade whenever you notice the cutting
line is worn, a well-sharpen blade results in good
quality of the grass after cutting;
2. Do not sharpen the blade while assembled on the
machine. Remove it according to the instructions
under “How to remove the cutting blade”;
3. Clean the blade with a brush, soap and water.
Check for cracks, dents and other damages.
Replace the blade if it is worn, warped or
damaged;
4. Use a le to Sharpen the blade; make sure to
equally sharpen both sides;
5. Make sure the blade is balanced. Use a screwdriver
and keep the blade parallel to a horizontal plane,
as shown in Figure 7. A balanced blade will
remain parallel to the ground. If it is unbalanced,
the heavy side will turn to the ground. Sharpen the
heavy side until the blade is balanced.
