PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Low water ow
The sand of the sand lter is very dirty
or the water supply is excessively hard
and has clogged the sand lter.
For more information see
chapter “Characteristics of the
water supply” on page 13
Replace the sand as indicated,
following the instructions on
granularity.
Check the water hardness. If it is
greater than 14°f install a softener
upstream.
Sand inside the minipool
It is normal for there to be a minimum
amount of sand inside the minipool
during the rst hours of use of the
sand lter. After the rst cleaning of
the bottom the problem should no
longer exist.
Cleaning the bottom with a minipool
cleaner.
Make sure you have used sand with
granularity from 0.5 to 1 mm suitable
for this type of use.
Water leaks
Some component is probably not
fully tightened or the seals are worn.
Check the tightness or replace the
seals.
The water of the minipool does not
become clear
Most likely the lter sand needs to
be changed or the pH of the water
supply is incorrect and so algae
grows.

Check the condition of the sand and
replace if necessary.
Use anti-algae products and
disinfectants.
Remember that the sand lter does
NOT block metal oxides that may
over time damage components of
the minipool.
