PR and TL series DC power supplies convert AC to regulated 13.8 VDC for various equipment.
Models rated 12A or lower are not for battery charging. Higher rated models require separate fusing.
Provides excellent voltage regulation within +/-0.5 V DC; maintains output from 0 to 95% load.
Prevents overvoltage surges from damaging connected equipment (15 amp and larger models).
Provides low-noise operation, excellent for sensitive communications receivers (0.1 to 0.15V ripple).
Automatically limits current/voltage outputs in overload; time-controlled on 7A+ models.
Provides complete line isolation for reliable operation.
Ensures cool, continuous operation and long component life.
Harmonizes with equipment; narrow front profile conserves space.
Contributes to low noise operation.
Place unit in a well-ventilated location. Avoid rain/moisture. Hazardous voltages inside.
Place equipment next to PR supply. Ensure 2" clearance above louvers for ventilation.
Set radio on TL 11 or slide into TLC 11 space for integrated base station appearance.
Connect DC equipment to POSITIVE/RED and NEGATIVE/BLACK terminals, observing polarity.
Plug in, turn ON. Indicator light illuminates RED. Turn connected DC equipment ON after supply.
Ratings based on ICS (Intermittent Communications Service) with 50% duty cycle (5 min ON/OFF).
Electronic foldback limits current to <1A on short circuits; restores automatically.
Allows brief higher current for loads like incandescent lamps or audio amplifiers.
Check DC connections, tighten if loose. Check/replace external fuse with same amperage size.
Covers defects in material/workmanship for 1 year from purchase. Repair or replacement at seller's discretion.
Excludes normal wear, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect. Limits implied warranties and consequential damages.
Details current ratings, fusing, ripple voltage, dimensions, weight, and general applications.
