Securing Guylines: The net's pole straps are slipped over the extended poles. The "S" hook of the guyline is attached to the eyebolt at the top of each pole. The poles are positioned upright, with their bottoms pitched slightly toward the center of the court. Guylines are lightly tensioned at a 45-degree angle, approximately 9 to 10 feet (3m) apart, and anchored with steel ground stakes.
Net Tensioning: With the base of the pole angled toward and aligned with the center of the court by approximately 18 inches, the plastic guyline tensioner is pulled down to tension the guyline system. The poles are then slid to an upright position to maximize net tension.
Installing Boundary: The boundary line is laid out onto the play area. The four corner anchors are positioned in each corner of the play area, squaring the corners, and inserted into the ground. This creates a court measuring 30 feet wide by 60 feet long.

Simultaneous Contact: When two blocking teammates touch the ball simultaneously, it counts as one contact.
Faults: Includes assisted hits (player takes support), double contacts (player contacts ball twice consecutively or in different parts of the body successively), held balls (ball not cleanly contacted, or two players hold ball above net during block – replayed), player/net contact (fault if player or clothing touches net), reaching beyond the net while blocking (allowed if not interfering with opponent's play), and crossing the center line (allowed if not interfering with opponent's play). Intentional interference by opposing players is not permitted.
