Usage Features:
Assembly Instructions:
- Step 1 (Net Attachment): Insert ropes from the top and bottom corners of the net through the corresponding holes in the top pole sections. Secure these ropes with knots.
- Step 2 (Middle Pole Attachment): Attach the middle pole section to the top pole by aligning the holes. Insert the loop of the lower guide rope through a hole in the middle pole.
- Step 3 (Bottom Pole Attachment): Insert the bottom pole section into the middle pole, aligning the holes. Place a plastic cap on top of the uppermost pole.
- Step 4 (Setup and Tensioning): Stretch the assembled net and poles across the playing area until the net is tight. Press the poles firmly into the ground. Hold the poles vertically and press the upper guide rope stakes into the ground at a 45-degree angle, 3 to 5 feet from the pole and 3 to 5 feet apart. Loop the lower guide ropes over these stakes and adjust the rope tensioners until all ropes are taut.
Volleyball Game Play:
- Service: The ball must go over the net. If it hits the net and goes over, it's re-served. If it doesn't go over, goes out of bounds, or touches a teammate before an opponent, it's a "side out."
- Volley: Each team is allowed a maximum of three successive contacts to return the ball.
- Errors/Fouls: Includes not hitting the ball clearly, hitting it out of bounds, allowing it to hit the floor, touching the ball twice in succession, failing to serve properly, holding/throwing the ball, touching the net, or playing out of position during service.
- Scoring: Only the serving team scores. A "side out" occurs when the serving team fails to score, and the receiving team then serves.
Badminton Game Play:
- Service: The shuttle must be struck at a point not higher than the server's waist. The server must serve from within their designated half court.
- Faults: Includes serving overhand, the shuttle falling into the wrong service court or out of bounds, improper serving position, intentionally distracting an opponent, missing the shuttle during service, the shuttle falling outside boundaries or failing to pass over the net during play, a player reaching over the net to hit the shuttle (though follow-through is allowed), or hitting the shuttle twice in succession by the same player or by a player and teammate successively.
- Net Contact: It is not a fault if the shuttle hits the net during service or play and goes over the net; if this happens during service, it is re-served.
