Starter Drive Cover – Removal
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
Perform the following operations:
• Swinging Arm - Removal
1. Place an oil catch tray beneath the starter drive cover to collect engine oil that may
spill out on removal.
NOTICE
Note the position of the dowels for installation.
2. Release the fixings and remove the starter drive cover. Discard the gasket.
