1. Mandrel

When removing the lever pivot sleeve, always wear overalls, eye, face and hand
protection. The lever sleeve is hardened and liable to splinter if broken. Debris from
broken components could cause injury to eyes, face and any unprotected parts of the
body.
4. Fit the extractor to the mandrel as shown.
