Torsional Damper – Installation
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
4. Fit the retaining plate Make sure the OUT marking on the retaining plate is facing
towards the torsional damper.
When fitting the torsional damper to the output shaft, care must be taken to prevent
damage to the O-ring in the damper.
2. Fit the torsional damper to the output shaft as noted for removal.
3. Make sure the oil seal is fitted to the damper and the there is a snap ring on either
side of it.
