3. Remove the fixings securing the output shaft retaining plate to the transmission
bearing cap. Discard the fixings.

4. If fitted, remove the shim(s) and retain for installation.
NOTICE
For the transmission bearing cap there are two M6 x 30 mm and two M8 x 65 mm
fixings.
Note the position of the fixings for installation.
