3. Using a suitable tool, carefully remove the oil seal in the lower crankcase without
damaging the lower crankcase.
4. Check the condition of the needle roller bearings and the actuator shaft for damage.
If necessary renew the needle roller bearings and actuator shaft.

Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
