26. Remove the fixing securing the left hand side panel moulding to the frame.

Make sure the engine and the motorcycle frame are stabilised and adequately
supported. This will help prevent it from falling and causing injury to the operator or
damage to the motorcycle.
27. Place support beneath the engine and make sure that the frame is still adequately
and securely supported.
28. Open the passenger left and right hand footrests. Using a suitable hoist, support the
rear frame and outrigger assembly.
29. Remove the bolt and washer securing the left hand outrigger to the upper crankcase.
