2. Remove and discard the fixings securing the stator to the alternator cover and
remove the stator.

Crankshaft Position Sensor – Installation
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
1. Position the stator to the alternator cover and route the harness as noted for
removal. Secure the stator with new fixings and tighten to 12 Nm.
