8. Install a new circlip to retain the oil seal.
9. Position the dust seal to the outer tube.
10. Use the wider end of service tool T3880183 with hand pressure only, to press the
dust seal into position in the outer tube.

11. Fill the fork with oil (see Fork Oil Renew - Refilling).
Steering Head Bearing – Adjustment
Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
