(70) Check tightness of road wheel fastenings

Check the security of the exhaust pipe joint clips.
Check the security of the exhaust system (and where
applicable the catalytic converter) mounting bolts.
Use a second operator, run the engine at fast idle
speed.
Check the exhaust system joints for leaks.
Check the exhaust pipes for leaks arising from
damage or deterioration.
Check the exhaust silencer for leaks arising from
damage or deterioration.
Stop the engine.
Report any defects found.
Refer to Division 06 for the torque settings.
