Option #2: Using PEX water line (new construction, remodels, and
plumber installation. Not recommended without a professional)
1. Shut off water to the house and drain water supply line by
opening a nearby faucet.
2. Once the water pressure has reduced and has stopped flowing,
cut off the valve or fitting using a pipe cutter.
3. Insert a ½” Female gasketed swivel adapter (Not Included) into
the PEX water supply and crimp in place (Crimp ring goes on
first)

4. Thread Valve onto fitting and tighten in place (Do not use Teflon
tape)
5. Make sure valve is shut off and turn the water back on to check
for leaks before setting the toilet in place
Option #3: Use existing valve (This method will reduce the water
pressure and volume to the toilet and is not recommended unless one
of the first two options cannot be achieved.)
1. Turn the water off at the toilet valve
2. Flush the toilet two or three times to reduce the amount of
water in the toilet tank
3. Remove (Un-Thread) the supply line from existing toilet.(use a
bowl and towel to catch any access water)
4. Remove the supply line from the existing shut off valve and
replace it with a 3/8” to ½” FIP supply line. (Not Included)
