      There are several reasons why your Troy-Bilt Tiller engine might not start: * The fuel tank may be empty. If this is the case, fill the fuel tank with new fuel. * The primer bulb may not have been pressed enough. Press the primer bulb fully and slowly 10 times. * The engine may be flooded. Pull the starter rope repeatedly with the throttle control fully engaged and the choke lever in Position 3. * The fuel may be old. Drain the gas tank and add fresh fuel. * The spark plug may be fouled. Replace or clean the spark plug. * The spark arrestor may be plugged. Clean or replace the spark arrestor. * The On/Off Control may be in the OFF (O) position. Move the switch to ON (I).
