How to fix slow water heating in Truma Combi eco Furnace?
    • C

Water heating slowly in your Truma Furnace may be caused by lime scale (hard water calcification) in the water container. Decalcify the water container.

Why is water dripping from the Truma Combi eco pressure relief/drain valve?
    • S
      Stephanie GravesAug 17, 2025
Water may drip or flow from the drainage socket of the pressure relief/drain valve for several reasons. It could be due to excessive water pressure in the system, which can be resolved by checking and adjusting the pump pressure or replacing the water pump. If a Truma pressure relief/drain valve is installed, it might be releasing pressure above 65.25 psi (4.5 bar), which is a protective function and not a fault; if this continues, contact Truma service. Other potential causes include excessive water pressure requiring replacement of the water pressure reducer by a qualified technician, or lime/dirt under the valve seat, which can be addressed by rinsing the valve.

What to do if the Truma Furnace water container cannot be emptied?
    • G
      gmartinAug 20, 2025
If the water container cannot be emptied even when the pressure relief/drain valve is open, it is likely that the drainage socket is obstructed. Clear any obstructions such as slush, ice, or leaves from the opening of the drainage socket. Ensure that the faucets are opened to the 'hot' position.

What to do if water escaping at Truma Combi eco pressure relief/drain valve?
    • D
      David DavisAug 31, 2025
If water is escaping at the pressure relief/drain valve, it could be due to high water pressure in the system or contamination under the valve seat. A qualified technician should install a water pressure regulator at the fresh water supply. Also, try rinsing the pressure relief/drain valve to remove any lime or dirt from the valve seat. If the issue persists, a qualified technician should replace the pressure relief/drain valve.

If the water container won't empty even with the pressure relief/drain valve open, the drainage socket of the valve might be obstructed. Remove any obstructions like slush, ice, or leaves from the drainage socket opening, and ensure that the faucets are opened to the 'hot' position.

Why is water slowly dripping from the Truma Combi eco Furnace pressure relief/drain valve?
    • C
      Christopher MartinezSep 10, 2025
Slow dripping from the pressure relief/drain valve indicates that the pressure inside the water container is rising above approximately 65.25 psi (4.5 bar). The Truma pressure relief/drain valve is designed to protect the water container against pressure exceeding this level. This is not a fault.
