This appliance may be used
by children from 8 years old
and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or with a lack of
experience and knowledge
only if they are supervised or
have been instructed in the
safe use of the appliance and
understand the resulting risks.
Children must not be allowed
to play with the appliance.
Always close the gas cylinders
when working on the gas line.
The gas remote switch is not a
safety valve.
This gas remote switch may
only be used if it has been
ensured that all gas appli-
ances have a safety pilot! This
is the case e.g. with all current
Truma heating and hot water
appliances.
The appliance and the gas
system must be inspected by
a recognised expert in accord-
ance with the national regula-
tions (e.g. DVGW Worksheet
G 607 for vehicles in Germany)
or, if there are no such reg-
ulations, at least every two
years. A recognised specialist
must carry out a leak test after
changes have been made to
the liquid gas system. The ve-
hicle owner is responsible for
having the check carried out.
To guarantee safe operation
of the gas remote switch, it is
necessary to install a gas filter
upstream of every inlet in the
gas pressure regulation system.
The gas remote switch must
not be used as a device in ac-
cordance with the UN ECE reg-
ulation R 122 in order to pre-
vent the uncontrolled escape
of liquified gas in the event of
an accident.
