This document describes the TUMAKOU IPL hair removal system, available in F09 and F07 models, designed for home use. The system utilizes Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to disrupt the hair regrowth cycle. Light energy is delivered through the skin's surface and absorbed by melanin in the hair root, aiming to prevent hair from growing back after a series of treatments. The device is intended to provide long-lasting smooth skin.
The TUMAKOU IPL hair removal device is designed to remove hair from various body parts, including the face (lips, chin, sideburns), armpits, legs, tummy, back, chest, bikini line, and private areas. It operates by emitting IPL, which targets the melanin in hair follicles. The device offers five energy levels, allowing users to adjust the intensity based on their skin tolerance and desired effect. Higher energy levels are associated with greater strength and potentially better results.
The device features both manual and auto flash modes. In manual mode, the flash button must be pressed for each pulse. In auto flash mode, the device automatically emits flashes, eliminating the need for continuous button presses. The device is equipped with an LCD display that shows the remaining pulse count, the selected energy level, and an auto flash mode symbol when active. A fan is integrated to manage heat during operation.
Before using the device, users are instructed to shave the hair in the treatment area and clean their skin. It is important not to use gel before treatment. The power cord should be connected to the device and a wall electrical outlet. The device is powered on or off by pressing the power button for more than two seconds. Once powered on, the fan starts, and the LCD displays relevant information such as remaining pulses, energy level, and a fan icon.
Users can select the desired energy level (1 to 5) by pressing the power button repeatedly. It is strongly recommended to start with the lowest energy level for the first treatment, especially when using the device for the first time or on a new body area. A skin sensitivity test is advised before full treatment. This involves treating a small area with 2-3 pulses at the lowest level, waiting 60 minutes, and checking for any adverse skin reactions. If no redness or other reactions occur, the user can proceed with a full treatment.
When applying the device, the treatment window should be placed tightly and vertically against the skin at a 90-degree angle, ensuring full contact. The device should be moved slowly to the next skin spot after each flash to avoid excessive heat buildup, which could lead to skin swelling, blisters, or temporary/permanent changes in skin color. Goggles should be worn during operation to protect the eyes from the bright light.
The treatment schedule involves repeating the process three times on each part. For the first 1-2 weeks, treatment is recommended three times a week. For weeks 3-4, it's twice a week. For weeks 5-8, it's twice a week, and after 8 weeks, once a week. During the maintenance period, treatment is recommended once every two weeks for areas with hair regrowth.
Results are expected to be noticeable over time. Immediately post-treatment, some hair growth may still be observed, likely from hairs in dormant or non-growth phases. After 6 weeks, a reduction in hair growth should be visible. After completing the 12-week plan, a significant reduction in hair in the treated area is expected, with any remaining hairs being finer and lighter. Continued monthly treatments or as-needed treatments can help maintain hair-free skin. The effectiveness varies based on individual skin thickness and color.
After each use, the device should be powered off. The treatment window should be cleaned using a wet cloth or cotton swab. The device and its accessories should then be stored in their packing box in a safe place.
The device should be stored in a ventilated and dry environment, away from children. Metal objects should not be placed into the heat emission hole to prevent electric shock. In case the system gets wet, it should be sent back to the factory for examination, and if electrified, it should be powered off immediately for safety. Users are advised not to disassemble or repair the device themselves. If the device malfunctions, it should be sent to the manufacturer for overhaul by qualified maintenance personnel.
The product comes with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers new product replacement for non-artificial reasons. Faults resulting from abnormal use or force majeure are not covered. To claim free maintenance, users must provide valid proof of purchase.
