Complete maintenance / disassembly
A maintenance of the entire system must be performed
in the event of a malfunction or a signicant decrease
in performance. Under unfavorable conditions, such as
excessive sludge formation or in case of a decreasing
performance, the intervals must be shortened.During
this time skimming will not be performed, however, this
generally poses no risk to the animals and the skimmer
will catch up quickly after it is reinstalled.
Disassembly can be done without tools.
Remove the skimmer cup, decommission the Foamer
and remove the DOC skimmer from the aquarium with the
help of a small container (observe the Magnet Holder).
Remove top plate by pulling (1).
Remove the outlet (2) and detach the Foamer (3) from
the housing.
Remove the air hose from the Foamer (4).
Perform a maintenance of the Foamer, see Comline
®
Foamer 9001.040 / 9001.041 / maintenance.
The air out must be cleared and clean. Thoroughly rinse
the housing and remove any algae.
After the maintenance is concluded reassemble the
various components in reverse of the disassembly order.
The silicone hose may not be kinked within the housing!
Entretien complet / Démontage
Lors d’un défaut ou baisse notable des performances,
nous conseillons de réaliser un entretien complet
de l’écumeur. Lors de conditions de fonctionnement
difciles, par ex. beaucoup de mucus ou une diminution
des performances, cet entretien pourrait intervenir plus
tôt. Durant cette intervention d’une heure, l’aquarium est
privé de son écumage ce qui ne devrait pas présenter de
risques pour les animaux.
Le démontage s’effectue sans outillage.
Déposez le godet d’écumage, débranchez le Foamer
puis retirez DOC Skimmer de l’aquarium en le posant
dans un petit récipient.
Déposez la plaque supérieure (1).
Déposez l‘Outlet (2) et retirez le Foamer (3) du corps de
l‘appareil.
Retirez le tuyau d‘air du Foamer (4).
Effectuez l‘entretien du Foamer , voir Comline® Foamer
9001.040 / 9001.041 / Entretien.
Le circuit d‘air doit être dégagé et propre, rincez le corps
de l‘écumeur et retirez les algues éventuelles.
Après cet entretien, remontez l‘appareil dans l‘ordre
inverse de démontage. Le tuyau d‘air silicone ne doit pas
se retrouvé plié dans le corps de l‘écumeur!
