For most toilet seats, flip up the bolt caps behind
the seat with a flathead screwdriver to access the bolts.
Turn counterclockwise to loosen the bolts. Remove the seat
and either store it (in case you ever need it) or bury it (in case
you want to give your old seat a proper goodbye).
Just kidding, recycle it!
