TUSHY TIP
You may need to hold the nut on the underside of the bolt
with your other hand (using pliers or a towel if necessary)
while unscrewing. If your toilet is dirty—hey, it happens!—it’s
the perfect time to clean it!
Simply unscrew the bolts fastening the quick-
release mounts to the toilet. You can remove
them and store them with your seat if you ever
need to reinstall it. The bolts may be under
a plastic or metallic cover.
Once you’ve got the seat o, set it aside
and you’re done!
