5. Route the lower side straps around the B-pillar, around the horizontal harness bar and back
around the B-pillar (see fig. 5). Thread the strap through the buckle (see fig. 6). Leave straps
loose.
6. Next, route the bottom corner straps down
around the base of the B-pillar and under the
bar that the door hinges on. Thread strap
through buckle as seen in figure 7. Leave
straps somewhat loose for now.
7. Unbuckle the two straps with the plastic hooks attached to them on the bottom of the rear
window. Slide the plastic hooks under the back panel/engine cover (see fig. 8). Align the strap
with the female buckle on the rear window. Reinsert the male buckle in the female buckle.
Leave somewhat loose for now. Tip: It may help to loosen the four Torx head screws that
attach the plastic back panel/engine cover (see fig. 9).
