Clutch cable adjustment
Clutch free play is measured at the clutch lever end.
● Loosen lock nut ( A ).
● Adjust the play adjuster nut ( B ) in or out to get the
specified play at the lever end.
● After adjusting the play holding the adjuster nut lock the
lock nut.
Clutch free play: 10 - 20 mm

Too much or too less clutch free play will damage the clutch
plates affecting the performance of the vehicle. Clutch play
should be adjusted only when the engine is cold.

Throttle cable adjustment
Throttle cable free play can be measured by holding the
adjuster and pulling the cable gently out. The gap between
the adjuster and cable outer is the free play.
To adjust the throttle cable free play
● Loosen the lock nut( 1) by holding adjuster (2)
● Adjust the cable slack by turning the adjuster (2) in or out
to obtain the recommended free play.
● After adjusting the free play, holding the adjuster, tighten
the lock nut.
Throttle cable free play : 1 - 2 mm
